Our housekeeping team knows this – in fact it’s one of the core focus areas of our business. We know that clean, well presented properties get the best reviews – in turn getting the most bookings and generating more revenue, effectively keeping our business running!
High Standards
So we’re fastidious about ensuring the properties we manage are presented at their absolute best. We have meticulous quality inspection procedures for every single property, with cleaning records kept for every changeover – must do’s, deep cleaning requirements, bins that need emptied, ornaments that need polished. If it’s on the list, it gets done and always in plenty of time for the next arrivals.
Our Procedures
We follow airbnb’s enhanced clean guidelines (introduced during Covid), which are:
- Sanitise surfaces: Sanitise every high-touch surface, down to the doorknob
- Use approved products: Use cleaners approved by health experts, such as disinfectants with 70% alcohol or higher
- Thoroughly clean: Refer to extensive checklists while cleaning room by room
- Wear a mask and gloves: Help avoid cross-contamination by wearing a mask and gloves
- Wash all linen (as part of our linen service): Wash linen at a high heat setting
- Follow all other local guidance: Comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
Bedsheets & Towels
We also offer a hotel-standard linen changeover service which ensures that all bed sheets and towels, duvet and pillow covers are always fresh for new arrivals.
Toilet Rolls & Bin Bags
Some of our customers prefer to leave a stock of consumables on property for us to use in order to replenish supplies after guests leave, and some prefer us to supply and replenish these when we visit to refresh the property. Typically this includes things such as tea, coffee, sugar, toilet roll, kitchen roll, bin bags and washing up liquid etc. Let us know your preference (and if there are specific brands you prefer) and we’ll just build the costs into your package as appropriate.
